Olamide drops the second music video from his UY Scuti album for the track – “JULIE”.
EMPIRE and YBNL premieres Julie official video, performed by rapper Olamide. Video directed by Patrick Elis. Julie off the UY Scuti album is another impressive track produced by Eskeezondbeat. It samples a little of Gyptian & Nickiminaj’s 2010 global smash hit ‘Hold Yuh’, and it’s nothing but a love jam.
With UY Scuti, Nigerian rapper Olamide continues his evolutionary cycle on his eleventh studio album. A follow-up to 2020’s Afrobeats-tinged Carpe Diem, this project sees him set comfortable flows over roots reggae, R&B, Afrobeats and pop soundscapes.
“This song (Julie) is me telling my woman that I know I’m crazy and not 100% perfect, but the kind of love I get from her is so amazing I’m willing to surrender everything. I wanted a mixture of that Caribbean feel just to take it away from the regular Afrobeats vibe.” – Says Olamide.
Quotable Lyrics

Me nuh bi romeo weh you show me love
Make me cling onto thee
Babe hear the chroma-phone weeping
Telling you all the secrets I’ve been keeping
